Rachael Heaton
Receptionist & intake Coordinator
Biography
Rachael Heaton is the Receptionist and Intake Coordinator at Business Law Group. Often the first point of contact for clients, she plays a key role in welcoming new clients, scheduling consultations, coordinating intake, preparing engagement letters, and keeping the front office running smoothly. Whether she’s answering calls, organizing schedules, or ensuring the team is stocked and supported, Rachael helps keep the office a well-oiled machine.
Rachael’s journey into law started in college, where she was an active member of the pre-law society all four years. Although she began her professional career in real estate—working with both a large firm and a new home builder—her passion for law never faded. When she moved to Colorado Springs and found Business Law Group, the opportunity felt like the perfect bridge into the legal world, and it’s proven to be a natural and fulfilling fit.
Born and raised in Castle Pines, Colorado, Rachael has also lived in Denver and now calls Colorado Springs home. She moved to the Springs to be with her long-term boyfriend, whom she met in high school, and quickly fell in love with the area. A proud Colorado native, she can’t imagine living anywhere else—especially with the state’s four beautiful seasons and endless opportunities to get outside.
Education
Rachael attended University of Colorado Denver, where she was an active member of the Pre-Law Society throughout all four years of her undergraduate studies.
Life Outside the Firm
Rachael loves exploring the outdoors with her golden retriever, Benny. They’re often out hiking, hitting up dog parks, or just enjoying the fresh Colorado air. A self-proclaimed foodie, Rachael enjoys cooking and baking, often bringing in her latest sweet creations to share with friends and coworkers. She also has a deep love for travel, whether it’s a spontaneous weekend getaway or a long-haul flight to explore Europe. One of her most unique passions is scuba diving—she’s a certified diver and makes it a point to dive anytime she’s near an ocean.
When you see Rachael around the office, ask her about her latest travel adventures, what she’s been baking lately, or the most recent scuba dive she’s crossed off her bucket list.
