Holly earned her Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice at Colorado Christian University 2017 and Associate of Art in Paralegal Studies at Pikes Peak State College 2018. After gaining years of legal experience at Business Law Group, Holly earned her Juris Doctor from University of Denver, Sturm College of Law in 2025

Born in Colorado Springs, Holly spent much of her childhood overseas as a military kid, attending local public schools in both Norway and Germany before returning to Colorado.

Outside of work and school, Holly enjoys the beautiful Colorado outdoors with her kids, baking bread, and reading historical fiction novels. Holly’s family has taken root in the youth sports community in Colorado Springs, and most weekends she can be found at a football game, softball tournament, or a track meet, cheering on her kids.

Holly Baxter began her legal career at Business Law Group in 2019 as a paralegal and quickly found a strong connection to the work and to the firm’s mission of supporting small businesses. Her natural leadership and deepening knowledge of the field led to a promotion to Firm Manager in 2021.

In 2023, she returned to the classroom one last time to pursue her Juris Doctor at the University of Denver, Sturm College of Law. Balancing the demands of law school with a lengthy commute and family life, Holly was eager to return to the firm and graduated on an accelerated timeline in 2025.

As she continued to deepen her legal experience with two summer clerkships and a semester in practice during law school, Holly found her passion leaning more and more toward transactional work, especially helping entrepreneurs navigate big milestones like starting or selling a business.

As a licensed attorney, Holly draws on her unique perspective gained from years spent supporting clients in multiple roles within the firm to represent BLG clients in all their transactional needs and beyond. Holly is committed to providing practical, business-focused legal counsel that helps entrepreneurs and business owners achieve their goals with confidence.
