David earned his Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Vanderbilt University in 2014, where he cultivated a strong interest in law and policy. He went on to receive his Juris Doctor from the University of Alabama School of Law in 2019.

Originally from Missouri, David has lived throughout the Midwest, South, and Northeast. In 2025, he and his wife, young son, cat, and dog relocated to Colorado Springs, drawn by a desire to spend more time in the mountains and enjoy Colorado’s active lifestyle. A former Division I collegiate athlete, David remains an avid runner. Outside of work, he enjoys traveling with his family, fishing, and watching just about any sport he can catch.

David is a litigation attorney with a strong focus on commercial disputes, particularly those involving small to medium-sized businesses, construction, and real estate. He brings a well-rounded perspective to his practice, having represented clients as a litigator in both New York and North Carolina before serving as General Counsel for a land development and homebuilding company. In that role, David gained unique insight into the challenges business owners and developers face every day.

Before earning his law degree, David worked as a consultant for a national electronic medical records company. He advised hospitals and health systems across the country on transitioning from paper based records to electronic platforms, helping organizations navigate operational, regulatory, and technological hurdles, experience that honed his problem-solving skills.

David is licensed to practice law in Colorado, New York, and North Carolina.
