Pikes Peak State College, Colorado; Emilia began her studies with the uncertainties of the degree she was pursuing which led her to study radiology. However, with her growing experience in law, she has discovered an interest and appreciation in the aspect of law.

She is what you call a Colorado native. Now as a Colorado native, you would think she enjoys the great outdoors, but she would much rather paint the mountains; now don’t get us wrong, she does enjoy a good hike. When Emilia isn’t at work, she likes to try out new restaurants, coffee shops, or check out a new plant store. She also enjoys reading crime books, building Legos, and trying out a new self-care routine. While this might not be productive, she loves to binge-watch a whole season of a new show on a weekend. She is always open to trying out new endeavors; all you must do is give her a time and day and she’ll be there.

Emilia is a legal assistant at the Business Law Group Firm and supports the litigation team. She coordinates meetings and calendar deadlines, finalizes documents, track legal deadlines and any miscellaneous work that needs her assistance. Emilia is new to law and started her law career at a law firm that focuses on workers’ compensation and motor vehicle accidents. Most of the clientele spoke Spanish and she was able to help translate pleadings, interpret phone calls, conferences, and anything else the firm needed. She intends to grow her knowledge of litigation law and grow with the team.

Spanish; Emilia’s childhood and first language was Spanish until the end of kindergarten where she learned English.
