Biography:

Megan is one of our business law paralegals. She uses her efficient multi-tasking skills, customer service experience and compassion for helping other to provide support to the attorneys and clients by maintaining calendars and case files, scheduling appointments with clients, assisting in business formations, and filing monthly reports.

Megan moved from Buffalo, New York to Colorado Springs in October 2021, after her significant other took a Lineman job for a local company. Megan started her career in the legal field in 2019, after interacting and handling all the company’s transactions at M&T Bank, Megan was offered a job at a small law firm in Buffalo, New York. Megan’s focus was real estate, but also assisted with bankruptcy, estate planning and small business formations. Megan had her first taste in the legal field the summer of 2013 when her stepmom, an Immigration and Customs Enforcement attorney at the time took her to work. She was able to see a day in a life of an attorney. This included the daily task in the office as well as a courtroom appearance. This experience was intimidating, but opened her eyes to a new world. Little did she know, she would eventually have a job in the legal world too.

Megan is a Dual Citizen of Canada and the Untied States. She was born and raised in Ontario, Canada and moved to Buffalo, New York in June of 2014 to attend and play hockey at SUNY Buffalo State College. Megan enjoyed what Buffalo had to offer, so she decided to stay. She worked various jobs learning many valuable skills that she now utilizes in her work at Business Law Group.

While not at work, Megan takes advantage of the beautiful mountains by hiking and skiing. She also enjoys working out, taking her energetic boxer on walks and runs, and spending time with family and friends.
