Experienced Transactional Attorney Needed!
What We Need
The Business Law Group is seeking an experienced business attorney to build out our transactional practice. We focus on providing the highest level of client services and work product, in a comfortable work atmosphere.
About Our Practice
We focus primarily on business and corporate law, business organizations, contracts, real estate, employment, and tax law. This position will support the business and transactional needs of our current and future business clients in these areas. Please feel free to browse our website for a better understanding of who we are and what we do. We are always professional, but never wear a tie, unless we’re going to court.
The Ideal Candidate
On the professional side, the ideal candidate will have two to four years of business transactional experience, preparing operating agreements and shareholder agreements, drafting and reviewing contracts, negotiating and drafting asset and share purchase agreements, forming new corporations and LLCs, and handling intellectual property matters. You must be confident, smart, and driven to be the best. You should have a demonstrated history of compelling writing, thoughtful research, sharp analytical skills, careful attention to detail, and strategic thinking. Tax or accounting experience, or a tax LL.M. are a significant bonus.
We are a business law firm, so business experience and entrepreneurial spirit is highly preferred. Current Colorado bar, and relocation to Colorado Springs are required.
On the personal side, you should probably have a great sense of humor, and a fun personality. We’ll probably spend a lot of time together, and we all want to be able to enjoy that time. We require confidence, but will not tolerate arrogance. Our office is a cohesive team, and have no room for egos or entitlement. You should be passionate about our work and our clients, as well as the people and interests in your life. We work hard, but we also play hard, and love to spend time with our families and hobbies.
