Brad S. Monson, Esq.
Brad’s practice is focused on assisting individuals and small businesses with all manner of business and tax and transactional planning, and resolving state and federal tax disputes.
Brad earned his law degree from the J. Reuben Clark Law School at Brigham Young University, graduating cum laude and with honors. While in law school, he served as an editor on the BYU Law Review, and was selected to serve as an extern with the Office of Chief Counsel of the Internal Revenue Service.
Complementing his legal education, Brad earned both a bachelor’s and master’s degree in accounting from the Marriott School of Management at Brigham Young University, one of the top accounting programs in the country.
Prior to joining The Business Law Group, Brad practiced as a senior tax associate in the Denver office of a “Big Four” accounting firm, where he advised on corporate tax matters. He also practiced law with a firm in Nevada, advising on a wide range of business and tax law issues.
Brad is an experienced and highly educated tax professional, capable of providing the highest level of tax and business law advice, combined with common sense and practical insight.
Outside of the office, Brad enjoys spending time with his wife and children, and playing the drums, guitar, piano, and basketball. He is an Eagle Scout, and has served in various capacities with the Boy Scouts of America, including Varsity Scout Coach.
